The Night of Independence Gala is our annual fundraiser that celebrates all people living independently with disabilities, our consumers’ accomplishments,
and The Whole Person’s work in making our community more inclusive and accessible.
Funds raised at the Gala will support adults and youth living with disabilities in Kansas City with programming aimed at promoting, supporting, and empowering independent living choices, preventing institutionalization and being as responsive as possible to the needs of these individuals who live with one or more disabilities.
Nearly all our programs and services are provided for free supporting approximately 2,500 clients annually.
Volunteers are needed for set up, tear down, silent auction assistance, greeting guests, and helping with day of tasks. Join our planning committee!
Contact Kelly Grooms to volunteer at kgrooms@thewholeperson.org.
Kelly Eckerman, KMBC9 News Anchor will emcee with all proceeds supporting adults and youth living with disabilities in Kansas City.
Buy your tickets early HERE, or contact Kelly Grooms at kgrooms@thewholeperson.org, 816-617-2232 for sponsorship benefits! We hope to see you there!
